How Long Does Counselling Last?

Our work may be either short term, or longer term depending on the type of issue you wish to deal with. Counselling is a talking therapy we will meet at the same time, on the same day each week to seek insight, clarity and an understanding to the issues that you bring.

Yes, I do work with couples.

I work with couples and Counselling and Psychotherapy will also, provide a space for couples to reflect, but also manage an ending if the relationship has come to an end and children are involved.

Love while deeply rewarding can quickly turn to hate and rejection when intimate relationships fail. Suddenly the very thing that first attracted us to our partner produces an intensity of feeling and previously suppressed emotions leading to rage, feelings of disappointment, and even betrayal which can be overwhelming.

What is your Confidentiality Policy?

Information shared during the counselling session is confidential. The therapist and client relationship takes place within the professional framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, where consultation with colleagues and supervisors is an essential part of good practice. Within this practise your confidentiality is fully protected.

My consulting room is situated in a quiet street in Penge South East London which is close to Crystal Palace ,Sydenham, Forest Hill and Beckenham. Free Parking is available and it is well served by public transport.The Counselling Rooms (a one minute walk) from Penge East a mainlines station from Victoria and Orpington. The East London Line from Penge West also, a London Bridge mainline station which is situated within a 5 minute walk.
